What to do on a rainy day?

We live where it never gets cold. We can play outside ALL YEAR LONG. But, every now and then, we get a rain - and a lot of it. So, what do we do? Improvise!!!!

Today we played pin the feather on the turkey.




(Please excuse this poor turkey. He does NOT have something coming out of his nose. I had to make him in a hurry - I was improvising, remember? - and that is supposed be his gobbler!)




And then, we made blueberry muffins. YUM!


If you have not tried cooking with two and three year old children before, I HIGHLY recommend letting them crack the eggs in a SEPARATE bowl, and pouring it in. That saves on a lot of shell picking for you!
