Who knew????

Who knew that little "growing sponges" could provide so much fun outdoor play? This simple, inexpensive toy from Walgreens provided fun for my three-year olds for nearly 40 minutes. They loved watching them grow. They loved taking them out of the water and identifying each dinosaur. They played, and played, and played....

Note in the photos below: The sponges got a ride in a truck, taken from place to place in gardening tools, and were eventually replaced with the bigger dinos (who also needed a bath).

It was wonderful.
